"I attended a conducting Master Class in Mirano (Venice) Italy in the summer of 2014.
I was not sure what to expect at first, but as soon as I walked in the classroom people were having fun and laughing. Within minutes, I felt welcomed and that I belonged in the class.
Unlike anyone else, Maestro Ennio Nicotra, has the ability to break down a master piece of a great composer into a single measure to illustrate the importance of gesture of conducting, maintaining dynamics, rhythms, contour and all the elements of music, without losing the overall picture of the piece.
Ennio stayed beside me and every student during class until we not only understood the technique of conducting correctly, but actually felt the master piece in your bones.
I have followed Maestro Ennio Nicotra since 2014.
My technique has improved drastically and as a result, I am able to conduct with more ability, more confidence and less effort.
Through time and many classes with Maestro Nicotra, I have met many of his students from all over the world and have developed many good friends because of his classes.
