"My desire to understand the secrets in orchestral Conducting were triggered in 2007. As I followed Maestro Valery Gergiev, I sought to understand which method of conducting he followed and it is here after watching the movie “Master and Pupil” I heard of the name Ilya Musin, the Maestro of Maestros.

From there I found the Ilya Musin Musin Society led by Professor Nicotra and I applied to attend the Masterclass in Palermo at a Summer School .

His method had profound impact on me as I tend to feel the meaning of music in my soul and I didn’t want a Technique that has no feeling for the message .

He helped me how to show the configuration of many things through the hand gesture and here I also have learned that each rhythmic construct has a motion that is easy for musicians to understand without a need to explain in words.

Indeed what I enjoyed most was how to show the character of music without loosing its structure and form as well as establishing the independence of hands, so that it is no duplicate or mirror image of hands with no added meaning.

The Agogics of Musin have been revealed to me and many colleagues. I am committed to this Musin School of Conducting and nothing else.

Maestro Nicotra is a liberating voice in demystifying the art and language of Conducting.

I am blessed to be under his training.

Finally , the Musin school of Conducting teaches you high -level score reading.

The respect I’ve earned from colleagues is owing to Maestro Nicotra’s teaching .

Vivat vivat,  semper vivat Musin.

Vivat  vivat, semper vivat Nicotra."
