The "technique of conducting" is one of the fundamental aspects of the study of orchestral conducting.
As obvious as it may be, the definition already covers the two fundamental components of this aspect: the "technique", understood as methods and procedures used in carrying out the activity, and the "conducting", that is to say the movement of music from a starting point to an end point.
Both of these components are visible through the gestures of the conductor. Ennio Nicotra deserves the credit for making these components clear, through a teaching that is perfectly suited to all situations in which a group of people play together.
